Taking Apart the Old Mobile Home
Demolition of Roof and Footing
Since a mobile home is designed to have limited space because it is originally thought of to be driven to one
place to another, the foundation of a mobile home is not the same as those of regular residential houses. A mobile
home’s foundation is secured by metal piers and therefore, it has an opening underneath. In order to cover up the
space, mobile home builders use skirting.
Builders started the work in the Senior Park in San Diego County early morning. The part of the roof that was
located above the storage and the carport was demolished. The roof from the old mobile home was divided so
carefully that when the house is constructed on the new site, the roof may be perfectly reassembled.
